EcoSize-CXW-111 is Seamens Enterprises' high-performance modified starch sizing agent. Unlike raw maize or tapioca starch, EcoSize-CXW-111 is chemically modified to provide:
- Lower viscosity at higher concentration — allows higher add-on without the paste becoming too thick to penetrate the yarn bundle
- Stable viscosity over the sizing machine run — less variation in add-on from beam start to beam end
- Flexible sizing film — reduced fibre shedding and improved loom shedding performance compared to unmodified starch

- Superior abrasion resistance — PVA film is significantly stronger than starch film. Critical for high-speed airjet and rapier looms where warp yarns are subjected to intensive mechanical stress.
- Excellent film flexibility — PVA film bends with the yarn during shed opening without cracking or flaking onto loom components
- Low hairiness improvement — PVA binds protruding fibres to the yarn surface more effectively than starch, reducing fibre fly and loom contamination
- Hot water desizeable — PVA is water-soluble and removed by hot water wash (70–95°C) without enzyme requirement; saves desizing chemical cost
